To find out if you are eligible for Medicare Part D low-income subsidy premium assistance, call Wisconsin Medicaid at 1-800-362-3002, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., CT, Monday-Friday. Or visit www.dhs.wi.gov/medicaid on the Web.

Individuals who are eligible to enroll in Partnership are also eligible for low-income subsidy premium assistance for Medicare Part D.

To learn about Medicare’s Best Available Evidence policy to help consumers who feel they are eligible for the low-income subsidy but do not have the proper documentation or they are not receiving the correct low-income subsidy, call Customer Service at (608) 245-3075 or 1-800-963-0035 (TTY WI Relay 711), Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., or go to Web site www.cms.gov/PrescriptionDrugCovContra/17_Best_Available_Evidence_Policy.asp.

Medicaid-Only Partnership Members:

  • Partnership members with Medicaid-only and no Medicare Part D drug coverage do not pay a premium for drugs or other medical or long-term care services.

Partnership Members with Medicare Part D:

  • All Partnership members must have Medicaid. Because Partnership members have Medicaid, our members with Medicare receive extra help from Medicare. The extra help pays the full Part D premium amount. This means Partnership members do not pay a premium for their drugs or other medical or long-term care services.
  • The $0 premium does not include any Medicare Part B premium you may have to pay to be eligible for Medicare Part B.
  • You might still have a copay for your Part D Drugs. Please see the Summary of Benefits for information on Part D copays.
